About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on leader with a strong background in construction or concreting who is confident supervising project delivery on-site. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate resources, drive productivity, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in determining project methods and techniques

• Supervise day-to-day site operations, including trades and subcontractors

• Coordinate project resources and schedules

• Ensure compliance with project documentation and client expectations

• Build and maintain positive relationships with site clients and stakeholders

• Manage RFIs and maintain clear site records

• Uphold safety leadership and site cleanliness

• Maintain daily site diaries and report progress to the Project Manager

• Support team cohesion and strong on-site culture

   

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a Site Supervisor or Foreperson role

• Trade background – carpentry or similar highly regarded

• Strong skills across civil construction: earthworks, drainage, structural concrete, concrete remediation

• Confident in reading and interpreting plans and specifications

• Familiar with mobilisation/demobilisation processes

• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills

• Demonstrated safety-first mindset

• Ability to lead by example and deliver quality outcomes

   

Requirements

• S1, S2, S3 (or willingness to obtain)

• Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (preferred)

• Current driver’s licence

• Local to Mackay or Central Queensland (DIDO role – no FIFO)
