Casual Contact Supervisor position

 

The Mackay Children’s Contact Service Inc. is a community-based program funded by the Federal Attorney-General’s Department and is managed by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services under the Family Relationships Services Program. 

MCCS staff is committed to advocate for Children.

The mission of Mackay Children’s Contact Service Inc. is to ensure the effective facilitation of contact visits, off site contact visits and changeovers in a calm environment between children, their parents, and/or significant others in their lives.

Mackay Children’s Contact Service is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced people to facilitate the changeover, supervision and offsite supervised contact between separated parents and their children.  

Who are we looking for?

The successful applicants will possess. 

  • A background in working with families or working towards completion of or working towards an appropriate degree, diploma, or other qualification in the Social Science field or similar. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the special needs of complex families. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Must have Positive Notice Blue Card, and 
  • Willing to undergo Police checks.

 

The Roles

This is a rewarding opportunity for lifestyle rosters to suit. The working week is from Monday to Sunday.
