If you are a motivated contract administrator (including developing and up-and-comers), seeking an opportunity to catapult your commercial build career, and reside locally in Rockhampton area, this position will differentiate you from your peers.
With direct mentoring from experienced senior project managers, you will find yourself close to the coal face, undertaking end-to-end contract administration functions as you further hone your procurement, scoping, financial management, reporting and project management capabilities.
This is a new position, offering growth pathways, with a highly regarded National Builder, representing one of the most stable organisations in the Central Queensland market. You can expect to gain further exposure across a diverse portfolio of Commercial, Health, Aged Care, Hospitality, Government, Institutional and Education projects, paving the way for career progression opportunities.
Unlike typical ‘head-office’ roles, you will not be required to ‘compete’ with peers for enticing projects nor be required to sit in a ‘chain of command' simply ‘pushing paper around’. Being a regional office, you will enjoy direct exposure to all aspects of running projects and subsequently benefit from establishing yourself as a key member of a supportive team.
The position will be tailored to the individual with respect to the level of allocated project responsibilities and therefore we are inviting expressions of interest from both developing and experienced Contract Administrators.
Ideally you will have previously completed either a relevant Trade Qualification or a Bachelor of Construction Management / Engineering (or be currently studying) and be working for a system / process orientated contractor in the built environment.
Remuneration is highly negotiable, commensurate with experience. More importantly; the rare opportunity to join an Employer of Choice in what is one of the largest, renown, local commercial Builders in the Central Queensland region, alongside a team of experienced professionals willing to support and impart their own knowledge.
