We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Short Order Cook to join our team and help us continue our success. We take pride in offering top-quality take-away meals and are excited to soon introduce dine-in options, featuring our renowned fish & chips, burgers, and gelato.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Short Order Cook who brings a can-do attitude and a passion for cooking. While experience is highly regarded, we offer on-the-job training to ensure you can excel in this role. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and plating food to a high standard, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and contributing to a positive and efficient team dynamic

About You:

• Prepare and plate food to ensure high standards of quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Follow and adhere to the restaurant’s policies, procedures, and values
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with other team members
• Manage time and organizational skills to deliver fast and efficient service and preparation
• Remain calm under pressure, particularly during busy service periods and customer or staff conflict resolutions
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure they are maintained appropriately
• Demonstrate proficient knife skills and knowledge of various cutting techniques
• Apply various cooking methods effectively
• Multitask efficiently in a dynamic kitchen environment

Qualifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Food Handling Certificate (required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar short order cook role is advantageous, though not essential
• Strong passion for food, food safety and customer service

Your Reward:

• A potential full-time position is available for the right candidate, with a schedule of five days a week. The role includes working just one day on the weekend, with all shifts ending no later than 8:30 PM
