We are currently seeking a passionate and industry qualified Cook to join us at our PCYC Leadership Development Centre - Capricorn Coast. If you have a keen interest in producing high quality food, then we need you!

Your New Role

Reporting to the Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the meals are prepared to an industry acceptable standard. You will also provide support to the Catering Coordinator in operations connected with the Centre kitchen. If this sounds like you, download our Position Description for more information. About You

  • Industry recognised qualification in cooking/catering
  • Demonstrated cooking experience in a bistro-style outlet and competency in food handling
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff, including volunteers
  • Demonstrated experience of managing a kitchen and ensuring food preparation hygiene standards
