Hard grit, tough-as-nails Critical Care Nurses - this one is for you. DNA Healthcare are working with remote hospitals across Queensland and their communities need you. We are currently looking for Registered Nurses with 5+ years experience in emergency and critical/urgent care to complete short-term travel contracts in the outback facilities.

What’s on offer?
  • Full time contracts of 4-12+ weeks in small remote hospitals with emergency departments, acute and short stay units. 
  • Locations include Normanton, Mornington Island, Clermont, Charleville, Alpha, Mount Isa, Longreach.
  • Hourly rates of $75-82 per hour base (+ penalties + super)
What will my role be?
  • You will use your critical skills and experience to assess, triage, treat, evacuate/transfer and refer patients that present to the hospital
  • You will work as part of the multi disciplinary team, alongside other nurses and the on-call doctor 
  • Coordinate the ED including resus, triage, acute beds
What is required?
  • 5+ years of post graduate experience as an RN in the urgent or emergency care setting
  • ALS, triage, resus, cannulation competencies
  • MEC, REC, ETEK certs are preferable
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Having or obtaining an Aged Care Police check will open you to more locations as some MPS sites require this for some inpatients.
