The opportunity:

Kinetic are currently seeking a dedicated specialist in Customer Accounts to oversee the liaison between our customers and internal stakeholders. This role is an ideal fit for someone who is keen on putting our customers needs first and passionate about providing the highest level of assistance possible.

Based at our Mackay depot, your expertise in customer contract management, operations schedules and pricing methods will be crucial to bring together a wide range of stakeholders and guarantee customer requirements are effectively managed, ultimately leading to the successful delivery of our bus services. 

What you can expect:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all service changes, assess commercial impacts and apply pricing methodologies to develop quotes for customers.
  • Ensure requests are fully documented and scope clearly defined to enable accurate costing.
  • Assist in preparation of pricing models for new and existing customer contract negotiations.
  • Prepare accurate end of month and end of week invoicing across customer portfolio.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer contracts and ensure operational and commercial compliance with contract provisions.
  • Attend and engage in regular, structured communication with key customer stakeholders.
  • Track and report to customer on key KPI’s
  • Review administrative processes and procedures and identify efficiencies and opportunities to streamline.
  • Work on or lead relevant projects to deliver improved customer, commercial or operational outcomes to the business.

The boxes you’ll tick:

  • Proven customer service and administrative experience with a major blue-chip customer base.
  • High level of commercial acumen with ability to understand and interpret commercial agreements.
  • Experience with developing pricing in a service-based environment.
  • Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn in-house systems.
