We currently have an opportunity for a fully registered and experienced Psychologist to join our team. Our clinician diaries are structured in line with a burnout prevention caseload model, which includes no scheduling of appointments outside your agreed upon hours, monitoring to ensure your caseload is balanced and not severe presentation heavy, an ability to take planned leave and flexibility in shifts.

The Opportunity
Right now, we are looking to recruit a Clinical Team Leader to lead, mentor, coach and support our amazing team of clinicians, onsite at our Gladstone practice, located within the CBD of Gladstone.
To succeed in this role, you will:

Have extensive clinical experience in clinical interventions and/or clinical assessment.

Desire to support the professional development of your clinical team members.

A Typical Week
We anticipate a typical week in this role to look as follows:

Monday: on-site at the practice (5 clients per day)

Tuesday: no clients, team lead day

Wednesday: no clients, team lead day

Thursday: on-site at the practice (5 clients per day)

Friday: on-site at the practice (5 clients per day)
Qualifications Required
-
Formal qualifications in Psychology, through either a 4+2, 5+1 or Masters pathway.

Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Approved as a Board Supervisor for the provision or both Primary and Secondary Supervision to Provisionals.

Clinical Endorsement or Educational & Developmental Endorsement Supervisor Status will be highly regarded.
Experience
-
With at least 5 + years experience.
-
Demonstrated experience in building, growing and leading teams.

Demonstrated competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in working with persons with mild to severe mental health problems spanning across all ages.

Demonstrated capacity in planning and provision of psychological, case management and rehabilitative services using an evidenced-based approach.

Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate service improvement initiatives and provide support/supervision to peers, subordinate personnel and students.
