Dental Assistant

The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at CQ Dental Studio in Rockhampton, QLD. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This is a casual position which will become permanent position for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile work environment, and ensuring the efficient flow of each appointment
• Managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the practice
• Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments to the highest standards of infection control
• Providing exceptional customer service and putting patients at ease throughout their dental visits
• Staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and industry developments

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, with a solid understanding of dental procedures and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• A passion for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of the dental practice
