Our Bajool Operations in Central Queensland are currently seeking permanent Despatch Administrator to join our team. Bajool and Port Alma are about 40km south of Rockhampton and 40km north of Gladstone.

The Role

This role reports directly to the Manufacturing & Warehousing Coordinator and is well supported by the site leaders.  The role has the responsibility for the following: 

  • Manage the despatch area including drivers and incoming phone calls. 
  • Plan and coordinate all the daily despatches and ordering carriers as required.
  • Prepare the despatch paperwork and maintain truck schedules. 
  • Ensure inventory requirements are maintained and communicated.
  • Management of timekeeping and daily operations for despatch operators. 
  • Pallet Control 
  • Assist with inventory, stocktakes and planning for operators. 

About you

You enjoy a face paced environment with strong communication skills and have a high attention to detail.  You have proven experience in a similar role with a broad knowledge of the despatch process. 

  1. Min 1-2 years’ experience in a Despatch Administrators role
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  3. Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously. 
  4. Intermediate skills in the MS Office suite
