About the Opportunity  

 

This key leadership role within the Village Operations team, responsible for Managing and Supervising the Guest Services team at one of our busy Villages within the Bowen Basin.

As the Guest Services Manager, you will play a critical role interacting with key clients, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of Guest Services within the Village, including providing excellent customer service, back of house tasks, managing rosters, data processing, and managing a high volume of group check-ins.

Full-time, permanent positions available consisting of on-going rotating rosters (5-2 or 14-7 options – vary per village).

About You 

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Prior Management experience in an administrative environment, ideally around site accommodation or hotels/similar 
  • Experience with accommodation software packages (e.g MICROS, RMS)
  • Experience in WH&S requirements for the hospitality industry. 
  • Capability to work well under pressure 
  • Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments 
  • Passion for training and developing staff 
  • The ability to deescalate difficult guest situations, provide effective conflict resolution and ensure the corrective actions are taken and followed up. Capability to work well under pressure 
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills 
  • Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role 
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening 
  • A current national Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one 
  • Have unrestricted Australian working rights 
  • Excellent computer and administrative skills 
  • Remote work experience (highly regarded)
