We are on the hunt for Diesel Fitters to join our award-winning team across various locations throughout Queensland and The Northern Territory.

These permanent, full-time positions are available in metro and regional locations including but not limited to Darwin, Alice Springs, Mount Isa, Brisbane, Mackay and Rockhampton.

As a Diesel Fitter, you will:

  • Repair, maintain and service key CAT machinery
  • Perform diagnostic assessments on mining and general construction equipment
  • Work as part of as skilled and driven team and get hands on with the following: Wheel loaders, Graders - 140M, 140H; Articulated Trucks, Excavators, Dozers, Backhoes, Rollers - Smooth drum and multi tyre; Skid Steers and Stand-alone engines.
  • Display fairness, build trust and maintain respectful relationships through open lines of communication
  • Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives

About You
A successful teammate will have:

  • A relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting, or a similar field
  • Well-developed communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
  • A continuous improvement commitment and positive attitude
  • Diagnostic skills to ensure a fault/issue is identified to its root cause before parts replacement
  • Competence to diagnose, repair and replace hydraulic systems and components
