L W Diesel & Contracting Services is a family-owned and operated business based in Gladstone, QLD, providing on-highway repairs across Gladstone and the Greater Surrounds. Specialising in Kenworth equipment, our team takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and practical solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Qualifications & experience

• Australian recognised trade qualified Diesel Mechanic (minimum cert III)

• Current Australian drivers licence

• Experience working on Kenworth trucks, Cummins, CAT & Detroit engines, EATON Gearboxes and Meritor & Dana differentials.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Carrying out general routine servicing and maintenance to on-highway equipment at Gladstone workshop & Customer depots.

• Diagnosing, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Operate in compliance to the NHVAS scheme.

Benefits

• Starting at $50 per hour depending on knowledge and skill set.

• 12.5% Super in addition to hourly rate

• 40 hr week with overtime if required - Flexible days to the right candidate.
