Job Description

Our Disability Support Workers provide personalised supports to individuals to help them maintain independence, participate in daily activities, and work toward their personal goals. Promoting dignity, wellbeing, and choice while delivering reliable, person-centred care is embedded in every service we provide. This opportunity includes 1:1, 24/7 supports, requiring flexibility for all shift times and requires assisting people with mobility needs, which may involve using safe manual handling techniques and appropriate equipment.
 
Responsibilities 
•    Supporting customers in a variety of environments including SIL, community outings and social events
•    Assisting with PEG feeding, manual handling and mobility supports
•    Preparing meals and administering medication as required
•    Supporting daily living tasks and personal care 
•    Maintaining accurate documentation including daily progress notes and incident reports
 
Requirements
•    Current Driver’s Licence (P2 or open) 
•    Provide First Aid & CPR Certificate
•    NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
•    QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
