Disability Support Workers (Complex Care)

We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers with specific experience in Complex Care or High-Intensity Supports to join our growing team.

 Skills and Experience 

We are looking for professionals who possess the following skills and experience: 

  • Experience implementing Mealtime Management Plans 

  • Experience in catheter support and enteral feeding.

  • Competency in manual handling, including the use of slings and hoists and other transfer equipment

  • Experience with Daily Personal Care and Daily Living Support Activities. 

  • Demonstrated experience in medication administration

  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, conduct risk assessments and reporting. 

  • Ability to communicate with participants with reduced communication capacity

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage pressure, along with a strong understanding of reporting guidelines.

Casual & Permanent part-time employment

Immediate start (pending mandatory NDIS requirements)

 Casual: Ordinary $45.28 - $48.13 (inclusive of 25% loading), Saturday shift $63.39 - $67.38, Sunday shift $81.50 – $86.63

  • Part-time hourly equivalent $36.22 - $39.53, Saturday shift $ 54.33 - $59.30, Sunday shift $72.44 - $79.06

  • Receive sleepover allowance $100 for sleepover shifts

Not-for-profit salary packaging options to increase take home pay (package up to $15,900 per FBT year)

Flexible and supportive work environment

 Mandatory Criteria 

  • Minimum Cert III in Individual Support or Disability. 

  • 4 x NDIS Orientation Modules. 

  • Other inductions and training as required. 

  • Computer proficiency

  • Suitable availability to work on a rotating flexible roster (will include a combination of day, afternoon and active night, sleepovers and weekend shifts)

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job that may include manual handling tasks
