Join our Gladstone team as a Domestic Electrician (wanting to learn more) or Experience Commercial Electrician – work on fit-outs, maintenance, and specialty projects while growing your career

 

What type of work you'll do:

  • Install new and re-wire small commercial fit-outs, including offices, shops, and retail spaces.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on lighting, power circuits, switchboards, UPS systems, and small machinery connections.

  • Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery

  • Commerical switchboard upgrades

  • Thermal scanning of switch boards

  • Installing and Maintain speciality equipment like UPS's, Power monitoring equipment, EV Chargers, Catering equipment, Industrial equipment overhauls, Data works, CCTV, Solar lighting

  • Install and maintain safety and compliance devices such as RCDs, Emergency Lighting, Body protected areas and other AS/NZS-standard equipment.

  • Work with clients and management to improve their electrical installations

  • Record daily job cards digital in Simpro, easy as for less paperwork. (Training provided if new to Simpro).

  • Communicate with clients on-site to explain work, provide updates, or resolve minor issues.

  • Variety and growth: Work across a growing volume of both maintenance and installation tasks, gaining experience in multiple areas of commercial electrical work.

  • Team flexibility: With room so you can focus on your preferred area's, while still supporting teammates across different projects as needed.

What You'll Need

  • Queensland Electrical Licence or equivalent that can be transferred to QLD Electrical Licence

  • Construction White Card

  • Australian Driver's Licence

  • Own basic hand tools, cordless gear, and test equipment (Specialised tools are supplied)

  • Candidates at any experience level are welcome to apply for this electrical position

  • Previous experience working on the tools & running your own small commercial projects
