About the Roles
We are currently seeking two experienced professionals to join our team on a contract basis in Bowen Basin, QLD, DIDO:
These are key operational support roles within our mining and maintenance environment. You will play a critical part in coordinating electrical and/or maintenance activities, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and execution of work across site operations.
Both roles require strong stakeholder engagement, excellent planning capability, and a strong focus on safety, compliance, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Coordinator Responsibilities

Coordinate all electrical activities across assigned projects and maintenance scopes

Liaise with electrical contractors, site supervisors, and operations teams

Ensure all electrical work is aligned with safety standards and operational requirements

Monitor progress of electrical works and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays

Support workforce coordination and resource allocation for electrical tasks
Planner/Scheduler Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules
-
Schedule labour, equipment, materials, and contractor resources
-
Manage work orders, backlog, and priority planning activities
-
Coordinate shutdown and weekly maintenance schedules
-
Monitor schedule compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Shared Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project and maintenance schedules using planning systems (SAP, Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent)

Maintain accurate documentation including work packs, schedules, and reports

Liaise with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams
-
Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for improved efficiency

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and compliance requirements

Support forecasting of labour, materials, and resource requirements
About You
To be successful in either role, you will bring:

Minimum 1+ years’ experience in electrical coordination and/or maintenance planning/scheduling

Experience within mining, resources, energy, or heavy industrial environments

Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance processes, or both

Experience using SAP PM, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar systems

Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
-
Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment

Commitment to safety and operational excellence
Desirable Experience
-
Mining or FIFO operational experience (Queensland preferred)

Shutdown planning or coordination experience
-
Fixed plant or mobile equipment maintenance exposure
-
Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications (Electrical, Engineering, or Planning)

Exposure to CHPP, infrastructure, or heavy industry environments
