About your role
QAL has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Instrumentation Planner to join our Maintenance Services Department. Reporting directly to the EI Maintenance Supervisor, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:

Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures

Planning and scheduling for all aspects of electrical and instrumentation work on equipment and systems in the Precipitation section of the plant

Liaising with key stakeholders to maintain assets through monitoring and creation of maintenance plans to meet the required strategy, scoping of work, setting short term and long-term schedules and arranging all resources required to execute the strategy

Utilising your technical knowledge to meet production and cost targets that are achievable and agreed while ensuring asset integrity

Developing zero based budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned assets

Maintaining the Maintenance Master Data in our CMMS system (SAP)
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

Electrical Trade qualification preferred

Tertiary qualifications in either Engineering, Asset Maintenance Management or Project Management would be advantageous

Experience with forecasting, planning and scheduling would be well regarded

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build working relationships with stakeholders

Excellent organisational skills
-
Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Ability to use MS office suite and SAP is desirable
-
A positive and motivated attitude with a strong work ethic
