About this Opportunity:
This Permanent Full-Time role will report to the Electrical Leading Hand and be responsible for Service Delivery within the Electrical Department at Racecourse Mill. You will have a keen interest in undertaking a variety of tasks and providing valuable assistance to the Electrical Department in building a semi-autonomous team. Most importantly you will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with team members and other personnel on-site.
Typical tasking will include but not be limited to:
- Electrical Test and Tag
- Filter Cleaning
- EWP Operation and Spotting
- Confined Space Activities
- Workshop and Equipment Cleaning
- Preparing Job Packs
- General Mill Work as necessary.
As a minimum you will need hold or have the ability, to gain the following skills and qualifications:
- Confined Spaces
- Working at Heights
- Hot Work
- EWP < 11M
- HRWL Forklift (LF)
- Electrical Test and Tag Certificate
- Have a basic knowledge in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Whilst not essential other qualifications held as below will be well regarded throughout the recruitment process:
- HRWL - Dogger (DG), Forklift (LF), Basic Rigger (RB)
- Asbestos Removal Class B Certificate.
