Electrician / 4th Year Apprentice 

 

  • Permanent Full Time
  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • $40.65 - $44.14 per hour (LGIA Stream C C10-C7 + Site + Tool Allowance + Leading Hand Allowance 2) (Minimum rate depending on qualifications and experience)
  • On call roster + regular overtime opportunities available 
  • Location – Rockhampton

 

Your new role

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated Electrician seeking a role which sees you working locally and home each night with your family?  Community Facilities is seeking a trade qualified Electrician or a 4th Year Apprentice to perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and testing activities which ensures the safe and efficient operation of Council’s assets. 

With your knowledge of the relevant Electrical Australian standards, Acts and Regulations you will enjoy performing a variety of tasks and completing electrical projects within the Rockhampton Region. You are skilled at prioritising your work and have the ability to read and interpret plans and problem solve. 

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History   Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
