Electrician / Electrical & Instrumentation
NRGGOS is currently seeking to appoint a temporary full time Electrician / Electrical & Instrumentation Fitter to join the Maintenance Department. This position is for a Specific Task Employee to work from February 2026 to 31 December 2026, Monday to Friday, 36.25 hour week on a 9-day fortnight basis.
As a member of the electrical workgroup, you will work within a team that promotes and maintains a safe working environment and your role will focus on the following:

Carry out maintenance activities to provide appropriate level of availability and reliability of electrical processes, plant and equipment

Providing timely and quality response to breakdowns

Providing technical input into planning and recommending improvements to standards, procedures and systems.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes include:
-
Relevant Trade qualifications (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)

Experience in power stations or heavy industry, together high voltage equipment would be highly regarded

Good communication skills
-
Self-motivated and results driven

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
