About the Role
We are currently sourcing an Electrician to join our team based from Mackay within our CQ Mining Division. The position is a hands-on role pertaining to the service and maintenance of essential services including fire detection and suppression systems across various industries.
Experience and Qualifications
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- QLD Electrical Licence
- QBCC Licence
- Willing to learn the Fire Industry
- Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and ability to work in a team
- A high standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvement
- An ability to work independently with a high level of communication and customer service skills
- An ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service related documentation
- Manual Drivers Licence
Desirable (or ability to obtain prior to starting):
- Current Generic Generic
- Current Medical
- Current Standard 11
- Work at Heights Certification
- Low Voltage/First Aid Certification
- CPR Certifications
- FPAS certifications
