Your Role in Action
- Power Up Equipment: Install, calibrate, and maintain essential electrical systems to keep operations humming.
- Diagnose & Optimise: Troubleshoot and refine interconnected circuits and systems to minimise downtime.
- Stay Organised: Maintain plans, databases, and documentation for smooth, compliant operations.
- Commission with Confidence: Commission and tune electrical systems to ensure peak performance.
- Own Complex Control Systems: Solve faults across electrical, pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor-based, and mechanical control systems.
- Lead Special Projects: Drive innovation by contributing to improvement initiatives and project work.
- Champion Safety: Model safe work practices and play an active role in safety improvement teams
Your Winning Combination
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- A current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence (Essential)
- A current EEHA (Essential)
- Post-trade experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation work
- Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certifications
Bonus points if you also have:
- Cert III or IV in Instrumentation
- Experience in fixed plant maintenance
- Familiarity with LV motor control and PLC systems
