KAEFER Integrated Services is currently recruiting experienced Electricians to join our service days and projects team across multiple Bowen Basin mine sites. This is a great opportunity to join a close knit, safety-focused team with a strong pipeline of work through 2026.
ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to site supervision, you will be part of a close knit, high performing team delivering safe, efficient, and compliant electrical services across multiple mining operations. You will support maintenance, breakdown, and project works across fixed plant and heavy mobile equipment at some of the Bowen Basin’s leading coal sites.
This position is casual with down-day work (no set roster). Minimum 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on fixed and mobile plant

Support maintenance, breakdown and project works across CHPP and mobile equipment

Install, test and commission electrical systems and components

Ensure compliance with site procedures, safety standards and statutory requirements

Complete pre-starts, JHAs and risk assessments
-
Maintain accurate records of work performed
ABOUT YOU

Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate & Electrical Licence
-
CPR / LVR
-
Standard 11
-
Coal Board Medical
-
Working at Heights (within 2 years)
-
Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres (within 2 years)
-
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
-
Proof of right to work in Australia
-
Must be local to the Mackay Region as this role is DIDO to the Bowen Basin
