Commercial Electrician for Project – Mackay
About our client:
Our Client is a locally owned and operated business specialising in dependable domestic, commercial and industrial electrical services for homes across Mackay and the surrounding areas.
What you will be doing:
As a Domestic and Commercial Electrician, you’ll spend your first three months working across project sites in Mackay, Proserpine, and the Collinsville region. Once these projects are complete, you’ll transition back into town-based work.

Installing and laying conduit across commercial and domestic projects

Wiring residential and commercial buildings to specifications
-
Installing, upgrading, and maintaining switchboards
-
Completing cable terminations and connections
-
Interpreting plans and ensuring installations meet compliance standards

Conducting general electrical fit-off and installation tasks
-
Working safely and efficiently across varied job sites
What you will need:
-
2-3 years’ industrial electrical experience
-
Good computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
-
Own tools and willingness to work on-call and travel when required
-
QLD Electrical Licence
-
Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol testing
-
Open Driver’s Licence
-
Full working rights in Australia
