ELECTRICIAN
Bensons Electrical Queensland Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and exceptional Electrician on a full-time basis to join our team in Gracemere, reporting to the owner and trade qualified supervisor.
Benson’s Electrical is a family owned and privately operated business. They have over 20 years’ experience in the electrical industry and has worked extensively with many commercial businesses including with public sector such as Queensland Health, Ergon and private companies such as Zip Industries, as well as servicing the residential sector. They also have strong relationships within the electrical industry due to being highly competent, reliable, innovative and experienced.
Role and Responsibility
· Carrying out a variety of electrical repairs/maintenance on a range of commercial and residential equipment
· Installation of electrical upgrades to a range of commercial and residential equipment
· Providing expert advice to customers on the current condition of their equipment and how the business can assist to achieve their goals
· Fault-finding on equipment as required
· Modify existing installations to achieve customer’s goals
· Preventative maintenance on systems as required
· Proven ability to think outside the box
· Role may include some tidying and cleaning of workshop, however mostly off-site
· Role requires candidate to comply with WHS policies and procedures
Essential Skills and Qualifications
· Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
· Exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude
· Polished and appropriate standard of communication with the client
· Unrestricted, manual driver’s licence
Desirable
· At least 1 year of experience in similar role is highly regarded
· Willingness to undertake further training highly regarded
· A good level of physical fitness and strength required
· Experience working with structured cabling, solar, commercial catering equipment and air conditioning.
