Job Description

LO-GO Appointments QLD specialises in Local Government recruitment, particularly across regional and rural Queensland. 

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Arts, Culture and Community management professionals for temporary Local Government roles supporting arts, cultural, and community programs.
  
Experience / Skills Required:
  • Leadership experience in arts, culture, or community development.
  • Experience in service delivery, program, and event coordination.
  • Experience in strategic planning and development.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build relationships across all levels and community sectors.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience in project delivery, including planning, budgeting or grant funding processes.
  • Understanding of policy, governance, and legislative frameworks.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and / or experience in Local Government will be highly regarded.
  • QLD Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check. 
  • Must have suitable working rights in Australia.
Benefits: The hourly rate is negotiable. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the assignments and travel expenses covered at the beginning and end of the assignments.
