Grow with us! We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Mackay BTP team.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations and estimates for internal and external customers. Working closely with the operations and sales teams, you will develop project scopes, verify parts requirements, estimate costs and ensure tenders and quotations are delivered within agreed customer timeframes. The role also supports planning, scheduling and reporting to ensure efficient resource utilisation and operational performance.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Estimator, Project Coordinator, Planner or similar role within the Heavy Mobile Equipment, Mining, Manufacturing or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing accurate quotations, estimates and tender submissions.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret parts lists, scopes of work and repair requirements.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Pronto (or equivalent) is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collaboratively across Operations, Sales and Planning teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Australian Working Rights.
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements, including a Full Pre-Employment Medical and National Police Clearance.
