Lead the Journey. Shape the Future.
Mackay Regional Council is calling for a visionary leader to champion the role of asset management across the organisation. As our next Executive Manager Asset Management, you'll guide the transformation of how we plan, manage, and invest in $4.5 billion worth of community assets-ensuring they serve generations to come.
About this opportunity:
This is more than a technical role. It's a leadership opportunity to embed asset thinking into the DNA of Council. You'll lead the development and implementation of strategic asset frameworks, policies, and plans that drive value, sustainability, and service excellence. From roads and water to parks and community facilities, your influence will be felt across every corner of our region.
You'll bring deep technical knowledge-grounded in ISO 55000 principles-and the steady leadership needed to work across departments, align stakeholders, and deliver results. Your ability to connect strategy with operations, and people with purpose, will be key to building a culture that prioritises smart, risk-aware asset decisions.
If you're ready to lead a whole-of-Council approach to asset stewardship, and inspire others to see the bigger picture, we want to hear from you.
Join us. Bring asset management to life.
