Role Overview: As an experienced HD Fitter with Bis Industries, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining and repairing a diverse range of Underground Mobile Equipment. You’ll handle everything from Loaders and Continuous Miners to Shuttle Cars and Power Generators. Your work will involve servicing, component replacement, and general repairs, all while adhering to high safety and technical standards.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Repair & Maintenance: Tackle repairs on underground heavy vehicles and mobile equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly and assist in enhancing documentation and processes.
• Preventative Maintenance: Embrace and support a preventative maintenance system while advising on potential improvements.
• Technical Expertise: Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3584 standards and oversee the ExDES Overhaul Process.

  
Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with underground mining equipment REQUIRED.
• Qualification: Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering or Mobile Plant Mechanic.
• Licenses: Driver’s License, RIIDES Units of Competency (AS/NZS3584.3), and preferable forklift operation and Dogman certificates.
