With over 26 years in the flooring industry, we specialize in a wide range of flooring solutions including polished concrete, grind & seal, vinyl, vinyl planks, hybrid flooring, seamless epoxy flooring, and more. Due to ongoing growth in the Gladstone Region, we are seeking a fully qualified or experienced Floor Layer to join our skilled and supportive team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified or significant experience in floor laying
- Strong problem-solving skills and forward-thinking attitude
- Reliable, hardworking, and dedicated to quality craftsmanship
- Experience with vinyl, vinyl planks and hybrid flooring highly desirable
- A positive, self-motivated attitude with a desire to grow within the company
- Willingness to work away overnight when required (additional overtime remuneration)
- Current Australian Driver’s License & reliable transportation
- Construction Industry White Card / Blue Card required
- High attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and install a variety of floor surfaces including vinyl, vinyl planks, polished concrete, and epoxy coatings
- Handle floor surface preparation, including sanding, concrete grinding, and minor repairs
- Follow instructions from team leaders/managers to deliver high-quality floor installations
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order
- Contribute positively to the team environment and maintain effective communication with both clients and co-workers
- Consistent punctuality and reliability for all shifts
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete projects on time and to the highest standard

- Permanent full-time position with regular hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (occasional Saturdays as needed)
