Job Description

Protech are seeking expressions of interest for experienced Tyre Fitters to join our client in the Bowen Basin.  

Located in the Northern end of Queensland’s resource-rich Bowen Basin, producing hard - coking coal.

 

These positions will be Full Time with the client at commencement.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remove, fitting and repairing tyres, rims and wheel assemblies on heavy mining equipment

  • Diagnosing and resolving tyre related issues

  • Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard

 

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience with Tyre Maintenance Systems (CAT 789 & above)

  • Cert II in Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Standard 11 Certificate (statement of attainment)

  • Ability to provide current Health Assessment and pass a Pre-Employment Medical & undergo Drug and Alcohol testing prior to commencement

  • Proof of Australian working rights

  • National Police Check

  • Two Contactable references
