What's the Role?

Within the Large sized Residential Aged Care Facility located in Mackay, the Facility Manager is a pivotal member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service. This role requires a dynamic individual to ensure regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and the cultivation of positive relationships with key stakeholders and the community.

The Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Leadership Team to deliver evidence-based care in accordance with regulatory standards and organisational policies
  • Manage the financial budget and resources to meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Build relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders
  • Oversee employee management, admissions, and quality reviews
The Successful Candidate:
  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing with AHPRA Registration
  • Aged Care management experience with a diverse clinical and care team
  • Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
  • Experience in quality processes, accreditation, and evidence-based practices
  • Business operations, budget, and finance management experience
  • Holds a Queensland Driver’s License (unrestricted) and a valid NDIS
  • Worker Screening and Police Check
