Field Service Diesel Fitters

Are you a Diesel Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity at a mine site in the Bowen Basin? Look no further! Joyce Mechanical is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team.  

Whether you have 10+ years of experience or are just finishing your time, we have positions to suit everyone. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

• Troubleshoot and identify technical issues.

• Work collaboratively with our team and communicate effectively.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or equivalent trade.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• CBM and S11 are highly beneficial.

What’s on offer: 

• Embedded contractor and floating rosters

• Hourly rate of $75 p.h

• 7:7 roster rotating D/N - OT available as desired

• Paid travel for DIDO

• Mine spec ute

• Overtime available onsite or in town in our Mackay workshop
