About the role 

Are you looking for a challenge with a supportive and safety-first market leader? Do you enjoy diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults? This could be the job for you! 

*Candidates will ideally reside in the Mackay or Bowen Basin region

Join the Liebherr team, who provide a high energy work environment where your ideas will be heard, your performance rewarded, and your development supported. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services. 

  • You will develop relationships and build trust.  
  • Working a Monday – Friday roster.  
  • Night shift allowance paid (if required to work night shift)
  • Opportunities to work on various sites, on builds and shutdowns
  • Tool of trade vehicle provided to travel to and from site
  • Phone, laptop and troubleshooting software
  • Factory accredited training
     

Key Responsibilities 

  • Major component change outs
  • New equipment assembly and commissioning
  • Diagnose faults of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
  • Repair damaged or faulty parts
  • Provide adjustments to mechanical equipment
  • Work as part of a team and guide customer excellence 
  • Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Applicable trade qualification essential
  • Previous Liebherr Excavator/truck knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Current driver’s license (C class minimum)
