As a Field Service Technician within the Pumps, Cyclones and Valves (PCV) business line, you will be the company’s first point of contact with our customers regarding PCV equipment maintenance, installation, and audits. A strong focus towards excellent customer service, the ability to complete service reports and a high level of communication are important attributes for this position.
Overall responsibility of the role is to safely service and repair all FLS Equipment in a timely manner and to an OEM standard. Providing photographic reports and recommendations to clients and ensuring a high level of Customer Satisfaction is achieved.
Major Responsibilities
The role involves both local and interstate work on customer sites to support our customers with PCV equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, servicing, repairs, and audits. When not deployed in the field, the technician will be based in the workshop undertaking equipment preparation, refurbishment, and maintenance activities. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel interstate to support PCV installation, maintenance, and audit activities across all assigned Australian territories.
A high level of customer service, time management, work planning and self-management are required for this exciting opportunity. The main responsibility of the role is to undertake routine inspections and servicing, attend breakdowns and working to ensure a high level of equipment availability both in the workshop and on customer sites. On-site activities will be supported by FLS PCV Service Engineers, ensuring the technician has the technical backing needed to deliver work to an OEM standard.

Trade qualification — essential.

Previous field service experience.

Experience with pumps, cyclones and/or valves, preferably within mining or mineral processing.

Washplant experience — highly regarded.

Current driver’s licence.

Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Solid computer literacy and ability to complete accurate service reports.

Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills.
