Ausgroup Industrial Services is currently seeking experienced Shutdown / Field Team Supervisors to join our growing team for upcoming projects across the Bowen Basin and Mackay regions.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals including Scaffolders, Riggers, Painters, Blasters, Boilermakers, Welders, Trade Assistants, Industrial Cleaners, and Supervisors.
About the Role
You will play a critical role in the successful delivery of shutdowns and field-based operations, providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to crews across varied disciplines.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Experience & Attributes:
-
Minimum 3 years of mine site experience
-
Strong focus on health, safety and risk management
-
Proven ability to mentor, lead and manage teams
-
Skilled in project scheduling, task delegation, and team coordination
-
High-level communication and time management skills
-
Proactive approach to continuous improvement and culture building
-
Competent with reporting, quality control, and basic computer tasks
Required Qualifications:
-
Current Driver’s Licence
-
S123 & G2
-
Construction White Card
-
Work Safely at Heights (valid or willing to obtain)
-
Confined Spaces (valid or willing to obtain)
-
Gas Test Atmosphere (valid or willing to obtain)
-
MSIC (or ability to obtain)
-
Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
Desirable Qualifications:
-
Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade or similar)
-
Certificate III in Engineering (Surface Preparation and Finishing)
-
Intermediate Rigging - HRWL
-
Advanced Scaffolding - HRWL
These qualifications will be highly regarded but are not essential.
