AMH Maintenance are currently seeking a Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our rapidly growing team. AMH Maintenance is a Yeppoon based company providing auto-electrical, mechanical, fabrication and hydraulic solutions to the Central Queensland and Bowen Basin regions, specialising in heavy diesel maintenance across various sites.

 About the Role

This role will perform duties across a number of sites in the Rockhampton region, completing tasks such as:

  • Conduct routine and emergency mechanical maintenance on fixed plant equipment

  • Inspect, repair, and service pumps, conveyors, crushers, and other plant systems

  • Identify faults and complete work to high standards with minimal rework

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Suitable trade qualification as a mechanical fitter

  • Current C class QLD drivers' licence

  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance, repairs and diagnostics

  • Current coal board medical desirable

  • Commitment to safety culture

  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
