Liberty Oil Australia have a proud history of truly independent fuel retail and fuel distribution in Australia. We operate a regional network of fuel depots and distribute hundreds of millions of litres of fuel a year, making Liberty one of the largest wholesalers operating nationally. Today, we are offering a great opportunity for a fuel tanker driver to join our team based in Mackay, QLD.

The Role:

  • Fuel tanker driver/ all rounder
  • Work will include an interesting mix of: Farm/Industrial deliveries (Long hose), Retail and Marine  deliveries
  • Roster: Primary roster will be Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday and occasional 24/7 roster work to fill the gaps
  • Vehicle: Primary Single trailer with some limited B Double work 

Due to current growth, we are recruiting for a fuel delivery driver to join the Liberty team, based in Mackay. As a fuel tanker Driver, your responsibilities will be to safely deliver fuel products from local Depots into a mix of regional Liberty customers.  This is a great opportunity to join a professional diverse fuel-based business, where your skills and experiences will be highly regarded.

  • Must be prepared to engage in any necessary training including inductions

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience
  • Multi combination (MC) licence is essential
  • Road Train experience highly regarded but not essential
  • A dangerous Goods licence is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience transporting fuel and lubricants highly advantageous, but not essential
  • Ability to load and deliver fuel in compliance to Dangerous Goods Act
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and health practices
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Successful candidates will need to satisfy our pre – employment checks including drug and alcohol screening, medical checks, driver history report and reference checks.
