We’re Hiring: 2 Cleaning Technicians (Starting June/July 2025)

You’ll begin your journey with hands-on experience and professional training, progressing through a clear career path:

Career Path Overview

1. Assistant Technician

  • Learn practical skills under the guidance of a Lead Technician

  • Gain hands-on experience and work collaboratively with the team

2. Technician in Training

  • Complete theoretical training on cleaning techniques and client service

  • Work alongside experienced technicians and begin handling pre-quoted jobs

  • Learn foundational sales and quoting skills

3. Technician

  • Independently manage cleaning jobs (quoted and unquoted)

  • Perform job audits and quotes

  • Support junior team members and provide exceptional client experiences

4. Optional Specialisations (for the right candidate):

  • Specialised Portable Technician – Trained in non-truckmount services such as leather, vinyl plank, car interior, and air conditioner cleaning

  • Lead Technician – Train, support, and mentor team members while driving professional growth

Progression depends on your willingness to learn, take initiative, and demonstrate maturity and skill compentency

Key Responsibilities

·        Delivering high-quality cleaning services to residential and commercial clients.

·        Work efficiently and effectively on your own and with a team.

·        Follow policies & procedures 

·        Inspect and assess items to be cleaned for damage, stains, and specific cleaning requirements, providing recommendations to clients as needed.

·        Uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service, addressing client concerns and questions with professionalism and courtesy.

·        Complete regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

·        Participate in team meetings by presenting opportunities, challenges & solutions, to enhance service quality, and contribute to the company's growth initiatives.

·        Uphold a clean and organised work environment in accordance with company standards.

·        Complete training in carpet, upholstery and other cleaning services from Diamond Carpet Cleaning and professional cleaning schools

·        Preparation of daily paperwork and invoices/ receipt of payment from customers

·        Contribute to the positive team culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience (advantageous but not essential).  Training will be provided

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership potential

  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to challenges

  • Valid manual driver's license and a clean driving record (preferably manual)

  • Physically fit and capable of moving heavy equipment

  • Clean criminal history and ability to pass a drug test

  • Availability Monday to Friday (6am–6pm), with occasional overtime as needed
