This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily treatment room operations and nursing services. An opportunity for a nurse who thrives on autonomy, accountability, and building systems that work. You will lead and support a dedicated team of nurses to deliver safe, effective and patient centred care. Working with the Director and the Practice Manager, you will manage work flow and resources and foster a collaborative, high performing environment.

This is a front and centre practice nursing role.
We are a practice that focuses on smart systems and processes and innovation, genuine care, and a team where everyone's role matters.
And right at the centre of it—we need a calm, capable, and committed Lead Nurse who brings the clinical confidence and the leadership spark.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a General Practice setting.
Australian citizenship or PR is required for this position.
What you'll be supported to:
• Run efficient and well-stocked treatment rooms
• Delivering and improving patient care
• Supporting, mentoring and coaching the team in health assessments, minor procedures cold chain and infection control (and all the rest)
• Being a go-to for patients, staff, and the whole care team

Desirable:

Experience in a General Practice setting

Proven leadership or staff management experience

Strong GPCCMP and Health Assessment experience

Excellent time management and multi tasking abilities

Sound knowledge of cold chain management

Demonstrated experience in Best Practice software

Relevant AHPRA Registration including CPR, First Aid and Immunisation experience

Current CPR and First Aid certifications can be obtained before commencement date

Permanent right to work in Australia and current QLD registration

Proficient computer/ admin skills

Reliability, punctuality and professionalism
