Position Overview
As a Graduate Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based behaviour support to individuals with disabilities, their families, and our dedicated staff. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll learn to apply innovative approaches that enhance quality of life and minimise challenging behaviours. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Behaviour Assessment & Support: Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify and address the root causes of challenging behaviours. Develop effective strategies and support plans that promote individual well-being.
- Coaching & Training: Work collaboratively with families, support workers, and managers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective implementation of behaviour support strategies.
- Data Management: Monitor and analyse data to assess the effectiveness of support plans, adjusting as necessary.
- Administrative Oversight: Maintain PBS registers, assist with restrictive practice reporting, and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in allied health or social and behavioural sciences.
- Strong understanding of person-centred approaches and a willingness to engage in behaviour support training.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and effectively address sensitive issues.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to implementing solutions.

Mandatory Requirements
- Working towards bachelor’s degree qualification in allied health or social and behavioural sciences
- Current Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)– or be willing to obtain.
- Working with Children Check (Blue card) – or be willing to obtain.
