Reporting to the Specialist – Production, you will:

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the QAL Bayer process, plant operations, procedures and safe work practices.
  • Develop idea initiations to improve the site.
  • Review short-term process area performance.
  • Provide technical support of engineering and commissioning of capital projects.
  • Develop process plans for equipment outages.


  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent) within the last twelve months or with an anticipated completion date before January 2025.
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Strong knowledge of Process / Chemical Engineering fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the Bayer Process (advantageous).
