Grants Accounting Officer
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Grants Accounting Officer to contribute to Council’s success.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and manage grants from application to completion through preparation of documentation and stakeholder engagement supporting the Strategic Grants Specialist to leverage maximum benefit for the delivery of priority Council initiatives.
About you:
- Strong grant comprehension and high-level organisational skills, along with effective communication for stakeholder engagement.
- Self-starter, drive improvements and have a high sense of urgency and commitment to quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
You will bring:
- Relevant accounting Certificate IV and/or substantial public sector grants experience.
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and develop positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level skills in analytical problem solving and strategy development.
- Demonstrated substantial experience in developing, writing, successfully obtaining and reporting on grants.
- Excellent administrative and project management skills, with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, with good attention to detail.
- Advanced computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, experience with email and administrative information systems.
- Strong report writing and oral presentation skills.
