An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Haul Truck Crew Trainer to join our dynamic and high-performing mining team. Reporting directly to the Crew Lead Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operators are proficient in the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery. As a Trainer, your responsibilities will include: the training of new to industry operators, crew upskilling needs as well as proficiency training and mentoring to achieve industry best practice operating techniques. Requirements for this role include proven experience as a Haul Truck Operator in an open cut mining environment operating CAT 793, Terex 4400 or Komatsu Electric Drive Haul Trucks, coupled with a thorough understanding of haul truck operations and safety protocols. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualification is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and teach others. A proactive approach to safety, adaptability in training techniques, and the ability to thrive both independently and within a team in a dynamic environment are crucial.
