Job Description

BRV Electrical are a locally owned and operated electrical business specialising in project and shutdown work at Coal Terminals and Coal Mines. 

We are currently searching for Qualified Hazardous Area Electrician to expand our team to successfully continue to service our clients throughout the Bowen Basin.

Roster is 4 days on 3 days off - Monday - Thursday. Day shift only! Extra days available. Ongoing role for the right candidate.

About the role: 

Perform EEHA equipment inspections, rectification, maintenance and repair works under direction from the client.

This is a Drive in/out position from Mackay (or close surrounding areas). Camp Accommodation and meals included while on roster.

About you:

  • Must have Electrical licence

  • Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA within 2 years)

  • Must have Drivers Licence

  • Must have 2 Years minimum experience in Hazardous Areas

  • Must have Current Coal Board Medical - or willing to obtain

  • Must have Standard 11 or willing to obtain

  • Working at Heights preferred

  • Strong focus on Safety is a MUST.
