HC/MC Driver - Mackay


About Role

Toll People in collaboration with Team Global Express are seeking HC or MC Drivers for casual opportunities to assist with the distribution & collection of General Freight in and around Mackay. This position is seeking AM Drivers commencing work around 6am Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holds a valid HC or MC Drivers License
  • Extensive local knowledge
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Competent in Trailer Coupling & Uncoupling on a daily basis
  • Completion of all runsheets accordingly
  • Ability to complete all Pre-Start checks at the beginning of each shift

Skills & Experience:

  • Current HC or MC driver license with 2yrs exp a MUST
  • Extensive experience in commercial truck driving
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Load Restraints
  • Co-operate with your employer to ensure all safe work procedures are adhered to
  • Immediately report any unhealthy and/or unsafe working conditions, hazards, equipment, or practices to your manager/supervisor and make suggestions on improvements
  • Immediately report to your manager/supervisor all injuries, illnesses, incidents and near misses - no matter how minor
