HC Truck Driver

Job Description

Truck'n Maintenance are seeking a reliable, motivated and experienced HC Truck Driver to join our growing team. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

This position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right candidate.

Our work is varied and includes local and regional projects. Some away work and occasional night shifts are required, so flexibility is essential.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats our trucks and machinery as if they were their own. We value operators who respect equipment, keep it clean, report maintenance issues early, and understand that well-maintained machinery is key to getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Duties Include

· Operating HC semi-trailer and truck and dog trucks safely and efficiently

· Transporting machinery, equipment and materials

· Loading and unloading when required

· Completing daily pre-starts and vehicle inspections

· Maintaining trucks and equipment to a high standard

· Assisting with general labouring duties when required

· Working safely and professionally at all times

Mandatory Requirements

· Current HC Driver's Licence

· Proven experience driving with Road Ranger

· Willingness to travel for away work

· Availability for occasional night shifts

· Physically fit and capable of manual work

· Strong work ethic and positive attitude

· Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

· Takes pride in maintaining and caring for trucks and equipment

· Ability to work independently and within a small team

· Australian citizen or unrestricted Australian working rights

Desirable, but not essential

· Experience operating machinery, including dozers, graders or loaders

· Relevant machinery tickets or VOCs

· Sound mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment maintenance
