As a Health and Rehabilitation Coordinator within our Health, Safety & Training team, you will report directly to the Health Superintendent, playing a pivotal role in cultivating a proactive health culture throughout our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing a range of critical programs including the Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Program, Injury Management, Rehabilitation/Return to Work processes, and the Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme for employees and contractors.

This position is fixed term for a period of 12 months and requires meticulous record-keeping skills to ensure compliance with both statutory and corporate obligations. Building strong relationships across various levels of the organisation will be essential, leveraging exceptional communication abilities and initiative in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

To excel in this role, you will ideally hold a qualification in Occupational Hygiene, or Allied Health and possess a solid understanding of Queensland Workers Compensation legislation. Previous experience in a similar role within a large industrial or mining organisation is highly desirable.
