Job Description

AMG is currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to become part of our high-performing Maintenance Team across multiple sites in the Bowen Basin.

We’ve got multiple opportunities across the Bowen Basin for experienced Diesel Fitters ready to hit the ground running on CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr plus more.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your trade expertise into a strong, safety-focused team within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform servicing, repair and maintenance of large scale mobile mining equipment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults
  • Replace or repair faulty components as required
  • Engage in safety processes including hazard identification, risk assessments, and JSAs
What You’ll Need:
  • Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Diesel Fitting) or equivalent 
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Current HA/Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
  • Proven heavy mobile equipment experience 
  • OEM experience - CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr
  • A strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Solid technical knowledge and fault-finding skills
